Easton update

Easton will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. We are still in the hospital with no idea about when we will go home. Easton was doing totally great at the time of my last blog, but has seemed to tuckered out again during feedings. We have decided that while he can eat that often, he maybe shouldn't be eating on his own that often. He seems to just get tuckered out and then chokes. He's still doing really well and is taking most of his feedings by bottle. Dr. Mason (his pediatrician) stopped by today (yesterday now?) and said he looks great and is doing fine. He suggested the possibility of having a tube of oxygen up to Easton's nose while he eats so that if his breathing slows he will still get the oxygen he needs. We haven't done that yet because Dr. Mason isn't his attending doctor, so a change like that would have to be approved by the hospital doctor - which hasn't happened yet. We'll see if/when they decide to act on his suggestion.

On a totally proud mama note, our little guy was just weighed and clocked in at 7 lbs and 0.3 oz. He is getting SO big. I'll post a picture of him with the next update... I was too lazy to dig around for the camera and take a picture of him.

Dan has also been harassing me to post an update about the house, so be watching for that in the next few days...
